Asparagus Tidbits
Slowly cook short stalks of Ontario asparagus until tender crisp, but still firm. Stir to soften one 3 oz package cream cheese (use 8 oz if preparing for large group). Mix in horseradish to taste. Spread cream cheese mixture onto thin slices of ham, smoked turkey, or dried beef. Place a stalk of asparagus on the sliced meat and roll up. Pin with toothpicks if necessary. Place rolls on a plate in pinwheel design and garnish as desired.
